"If you had Fun, you Won!" — Carter Hudson, FunZone Athlete
The FunZone Program is for children ages 2 to 9 and introduces the fundamentals of a variety of sports through games, dance, aerobics, and yoga in a non-competitive fun environment. The goal is to develop motor skills, balance, confidence and concentration that can be applied to all sports, all while building a lifelong love for exercise. We believe each child has an inner athlete waiting to be released and we are here to help them Discover the Athlete.
FunPlay (ages 2-3)
Little athletes enjoy being physically active while being introduced to movement and skills, such as running, jumping, dancing, throwing, kicking, catching, and much more. Students are engaged and have a blast with our dynamic coaches that create a nurturing environment that empowers young athletes to develop motor skills, listening skills, and self-confidence. It is never too early to Discover the Athlete.
FunBall (ages 3-6)
Students are introduced to the fundamental skills to play a variety of sports that use a ball. Students will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot, defend, and how to use the skills appropriately. Through games, activities, dance, and aerobics, students develop a love for physical activity and the skills to play each sport. Athletes will enjoy a class filled with sports-themed games that are designed to promote the fundamentals and Discover the Athlete.
FunSports (ages 7-9)
FunSports is for athletes seeking to hone the fundamentals of all sports. Students learn the rules to each sport as well as team skills and strategies to be successful. Class further refines individual skills as well as teaches new team concepts. In each class, students have the opportunity to practice the rules and apply the skills they have learned in a game-like setting. Coaches emphasize lessons learned with positive encouragement showing that sports are more than just winning and losing.
